Volunteering at the Oak Brook Park District

Help our community be its very best and feel its very best! When you volunteer at the Oak Brook Park District, you not only have the opportunity to share your talents, but you can also gain valuable experience, learn new skills and develop lasting friendships!

Since its establishment in 1962, the Oak Brook Park District has relied on the help of the community-spirited volunteers who enjoy being a key element in the stewardship of what has become to be one of the most respected park districts in Illinois.  Volunteers are vital for assisting with our successful special events and programs, and serving as conservation stewards for the Dorothy and Sam Dean Nature Sanctuary

Volunteers may receive a free meal and Oak Brook Park District apparel when they participate in select events. All volunteers are welcome to join us for appreciation events such as the Annual Director's Picnic in July.
